Bengaluru Cops Locate Taxi and Save Child Left Sleeping in Back Seat
Jian Chungi s parents and other relatives accidentally left him in the cab on their way back from an excursion to ISKCON Temple in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru Police safely reunited a four-year-old child with his family within an hour after he was accidentally left asleep in a cab in Hennur.

A four-year-old boy unintentionally left sleeping in the cab of Hennur the night of Friday was
returned to his family in less than one hour after quick coordination by Police officers in
Bengaluru municipal police.
Jian Chungi, 4, was with her mother Ginny and five of his relatives on a trip to his mother's
house at the ISKCON Temple in the evening. After returning, Jian fell asleep in the back of the
taxi arranged through his mom. The incident happened around 8.26 hours, the police reported.
The driver child was left sleeping in the taxi , rescued and went on to deliver the child to the
couple in less than an hour following the initial phone call from emergency personnel. After
arriving, the driver handed the child back to them safely and brought relief to parents in distress.
After the reunion was a success Police took advantage of the reunion to conduct a counseling
session to the family. Police stressed the importance of being vigilant when traveling with
children to prevent similar Namma 112 child rescues to come up. The couple was provided
with advice regarding how to protect their children when out on excursions.
